In this price range, it will directly compete with powerful electric models like the Tata Harrier EV and BYD eMAX 7. If Mahindra delivers a three-row electric SUV with excellent space, premium features, and excellent range, it will disrupt the segment.

The XEV 9S’s true strength lies in its electric powertrain. It is available in two variants – single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single-motor variant delivers 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor variant delivers 450 horsepower and 600 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 4.5 seconds, making it a sporty SUV.
The 80 kWh battery pack offers a range of over 500 km on a single charge. With fast charging support, it can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes. The regenerative braking system recycles energy, further increasing range during city driving. The suspension setup is adaptive, adjusting to road conditions. Drive modes include Eco, Normal, and Sport, allowing for customization of performance.
